The Interdisciplinary Colloquium on Digitalisation of Research brings together researchers from various disciplines who are dealing with a broadly understood topic of digitalisation. The aim of the Colloquium is to discuss the impact of digital transformation of research on many levels: starting form a technical discussion on research methodologies, data management, continuing with networking and collaborative practices. An important aspect of the process is the societal impact.

The online workshop introduces a series of annotation tools for musicological research as well as tools for musicological metadata enrichment. This approach promises not only an overview but also different perspectives on topics such as standardisation and interlinking beyond the musicological disciplines. Some tool presentations will be accompanied with a hands-on session offering deeper insights into methods, practical applications and use cases.
