This training introduces the PUNCH4NFDI platform as an entry point to Digital Research Products (DRPs) and their role in enabling FAIR and reproducible research. Participants will explore how research outputs are described, connected, and discovered through metadata, and gain practical experience with container technologies and workflow execution.

Im Rahmen einer offenen Sprechstunde unseres Helpdesks können Sie Anliegen und Fragen rund um die NFDI sowie zu text- und sprachbezogenen Forschungsdaten direkt mit Mitarbeitenden aus Text+ besprechen. Das Research Rendezvous findet alle zwei Wochen im Wechsel dienstags (9:00) und donnerstags (10:00) statt.

The NFDI4ING lecture series “RDM Basics for Engineers” offers an introduction to Research Data Management (RDM) in the engineering sciences. In four online sessions, participants will get to know basic RDM concepts, practical tools, metadata, and FAIR research software through short lectures and hands-on exercises. The series is open to students, PhD candidates, researchers, and anyone interested in RDM.

This session will explore questions such as: How to CARE in the Humanities? Who owns cultural heritage? Who has authority over it? Who is the data owner of digitized cultural heritage? What are the CARE Principles and why should we care? The presentation will focus on the challenges of applying the CARE principles in the humanities and discuss the model of the Informed CARE Data Steward.

The Interdisciplinary Colloquium on Digitalisation of Research brings together researchers from various disciplines who are dealing with a broadly understood topic of digitalisation. The aim of the Colloquium is to discuss the impact of digital transformation of research on many levels: starting form a technical discussion on research methodologies, data management, continuing with networking and collaborative practices. An important aspect of the process is the societal impact.
