The NFDI4ING lecture series “RDM Basics for Engineers” offers an introduction to Research Data Management (RDM) in the engineering sciences. In four online sessions, participants will get to know basic RDM concepts, practical tools, metadata, and FAIR research software through short lectures and hands-on exercises. The series is open to students, PhD candidates, researchers, and anyone interested in RDM.

The Interdisciplinary Colloquium on Digitalisation of Research brings together researchers from various disciplines who are dealing with a broadly understood topic of digitalisation. The aim of the Colloquium is to discuss the impact of digital transformation of research on many levels: starting form a technical discussion on research methodologies, data management, continuing with networking and collaborative practices. An important aspect of the process is the societal impact.
