Ad-hoc-committee “Research data management” of the German Society of Sport Science

dvs ad-hoc-committee “RDM”

In October 2022, the German Society of Sport Science decided to set up an ad-hoc committee on the topic of "Research Data Management". The aim of the ad-hoc committee is to identify the specific requirements and needs of sport science for sustainable research data management, as well as possibilities for the integration, development or promotion of a needs-specific research data infrastructure. In doing so, existing solutions within the sports science community are to be taken into account and built upon. As an overarching outcome, the ad-hoc committee should develop a concept for sport science on how current and future requirements and specific sport science needs for research data management can be addressed.

Melanie Krüger chairs the committee, Katja Klemm is her co-chair.
