Project History
Since May 2018, the platform forschungsdaten.info is being maintained and further developed on the basis of a Memorandum of Understanding signed by the University of Konstanz, KIT Karlsruhe and the University of Hohenheim as well as partner institutions and individuals from all over Germany. The portal was initiated by the bwFDM-Info project partners Universities of Heidelberg, Hohenheim, Konstanz, Tübingen and KIT. It receives funding as part of the bw2FDM project by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts (MWK Baden-Württemberg). Interviews with researchers in the bwFDM-Communities project showed that there is a great need for information on research data management. The aim of forschungsdaten.info was and is to provide information on research data management as well as best-practice examples in order facilitate the scientific use of research data.

forschungsdaten.info offers a variety of possibilities to communicate with us. We would like to encourage researchers to send us their questions and suggestions. All universities in the German-speaking realm are welcome to participate in the further development and maintenance of this website.
